2017 – 2018 Lecturer at the Faculty of Human Sciences, University of Potsdam,
Department of Inclusive Language Educationsince 2016 Trainer and consultant in the fields of community interpreting and multilingualism (German as a Second Language). Collaboration with 18 community interpreter pools at Municipal Integration Centers across North Rhine–Westphalia.
2017 – 2018 Lecturer with a focus on Theory and Practice of Interpreting in SprInt courses (for language and integration mediators) at the European Integration Center Berlin. Revision and further development of the SprInt training curriculum.
2016 – 2017 Seminar lead for the Goethe-Institut and member of the regional coordination team, working in the areas of Language and Refuge, Professional Development, Examinations, and Youth Programs.
2016 PhD (Dr. phil.) awarded jointly by the University of Duisburg–Essen and Humboldt University of Berlin. Dissertation: “Foreign Language Anxiety among International Students in German as a Foreign Language.”
